Serendipity House Widows Foundation currently feeds hundreds of widows every month at our Widows Centre in Maryland, Lagos… women whose daily survival is strengthened only through the kindness of compassionate people like you.
For 31 years, God has sustained the work of Serendipity House through our MONTHLY FEEDING PROGRAM with Unrivaled EMPOWERMENT PROJECTS will Balanced COUNSELING Sessions Daily.
Our Monthly BREAKFAST FELOWSHIPS gather about 900 Widows Monthly.
Theses are programs that began in very structured ways during our 21st Anniversary 10 years ago, and has continued to grow as more widows join us from many states across Nigeria., mostly in Lagos.
Following the passing of my dear husband Omooba Venerable Dr. Babatunde Oluyemisi Abisoye Jaiyeola, Late Priest, Consultant Physician Cardiologist and Co-founder of this mission in 2008, the work was graciously strengthened under the spiritual leadership of Bishop (Prof) Dapo Asaju, Bishop Theologian of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), who stepped in 18 years ago as Spiritual Father and Chairman of Serendipity House Widows Foundation and Lady Tutu Ososanya, Vice Chairman …whose journey has been over two decades with me.
Our success story is not without the numerous support from very notably kind donors on our board with volunteering friends of widows who also have travelled the journey with us. May God bless them more.
Every tier on the attached flyer represents real women in VOID struggling with the WOES of widowhood,whose hope is strengthened through consistent kindness.
