As the world marks World Widows Day 2026 on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, Serendipity House Widows Foundation respectfully seeks your support towards hosting 350 vulnerable widows at the Widows Centre, Maryland, Lagos.
For over 31 years since 1995, our Foundation has provided feeding, counselling, healthcare support, empowerment, advocacy, and humanitarian care to over 45,000 widows and vulnerable families.
This year’s programme will provide meals, refreshments, encouragement, healthcare awareness, fellowship, and practical support to widows who often face loneliness, hardship, and neglect.
We seek sponsorship towards:
- Feeding & Refreshments for 350 Widows — ₦1,061,000
- Radio Awareness Campaign — ₦175,000
- Chairs, Tables & Canopies — ₦203,000
- Decoration & Public Address System — ₦120,000
- Banners, Programme Materials & Publicity — ₦90,000
- Transportation & Logistics Support — ₦35,000
You may sponsor any item fully or partially or make a general contribution towards the programme.
A widow may forget many things in life, but she never forgets the person who stood by her in her season of need.
