Meet the Missioner

Olori Dame Ayo Yemisi Jaiyeola is a woman of many lives and parts.

She grew into the clergy family having been birthed by The Venerable Rufus Ayoade Akinwale & Late Mrs Esther Olabisi Akinwale both of Ibadan, Oyo State, six decades ago. An old student of YABA MODEL PRIMARY SCHOOL, METHODIST PRIMARY SCHOOL And the prestigious school, “LAGOS ANGLICAN GIRLS GRAMMAR SCHOOL S/L, LAGOS. '83 class.

She was trained as teacher at the then Methodist Teacher Training College, Shagamu in Ogun State. She later attended the Polytechnic Ibadan for a Diploma in Music and advanced to The University of Ife (now) Obafemi Awolowo University for Music. (majoring in Voice Physiology and Church Musicianship, Speech & Drama).

 

Ayo Yemisi Jaiyeola.. in 1995 took up a course in CHRISTIAN FAMILY LIFE & SEARCT THE SCRIPTURES by SERENDIPITY HOUSE USA. Where she decided to pick the name of her organisation having been the trained by SERENDIPITY HOUSE, Littleton, CO 80120.

She further went on to improve on her career by taking another course in Career education,development and management so she may be able to offer educational services to schools.

Ayo has in the past 15 years of her life consulted at many schools on temporary basis as a consultant in Music, Drama, Speech, CAREER Talks, SKILLS ACQUISITION, the P.T.A forums and students counseling.

She founded “The Mission for Women and Girls”, The U- UNIVERSITY (life grooming academy for YOUTHS).

Ayo is the owner of OLORI BEADS ACADEMY, where over 120 entrepreneurs were raised, graduated and certified, and doing very well in their endeavours... Since year 2002.

Ayo cleans homes and offices to raise funds for her widows ministries.

She is very appreciative to her individual and group supporters.

Her NGO (SERENDIPITY HOUSE) which was founded February 1995 has a line listing with the (Lagos State Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation. Also member NIGERIAN NETWORK OF NON GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS, WORLD ASSOCIATION OF NGOS, AFRICAN WIDOWS ORGANIZATIONS & WORLD ASSOCIATION OF NON GOVERMENTAL NGOs).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Olori Ayo Yemisi- Jaiyeola was married into the JAIYEOLA royal family of Ijebu Imushin in Ogun State.

 

 

Ayodele has since the demise of her husband come across God on a route to another unique widowhood ministry, one different from the type she had with Yemisi her heartbeat when he was here. Ayodele and Yemisi had a unique Family Life Mission Programme which they were both known for at their Anglican church, and a well viewed talk show on TV..Echoes of The Heart on GALAXY Television..

She is in continuation of God’s will in her life gone to preach, teach and counsel at church and organizations as regards WIDOWHOOD.

Ayodele is a MOM-DAD to her children.

Her children are all involved with her charity assignments, taking a rotational sponsorship of events. One of her children Ms Eniola Adebukola Jaiyeola aged 30 years…went to be with God 25th of August 2020.

This has really got Ayodele walking on slippery legs. She relies on God's grace and comfort. May Eniola's soul rest in Peace. She is remembered fondly and missed by the family and the entire Widows group.

By the permission of the then Bishop of the Diocese of Lagos West, RT Revd Dr Peter Awelewa Adebiyi now late.

Ayo became a key board member and Chief Missioner, on the Board of Evangelism of the Diocese of Lagos West where she served and doubled as Secretary & Co-ordinator of the Family Mission Programmes that had 4 retreats every year for 9 spiritually filled family life events from 1999 to 2008 when her husband Yemisi translated.

The late Ven Oshewa made her evangelical mission a top-notch.

Ayo is a member and current President of YM/YWCA in her church Bola Memorial Anglican Church, Ikeja. Lagos.

She is the current Chairman of YWCA Ikeja Branch within the Lagos Area Council.

A member of FOUNTAIN OF HOPE INTER’L 58 NG, Ikate.

She is a member of the Lions Clubs, International and Nigeria.

She has attended international, African and Nigeria Conventions of the Lions Club.

She Chartered a club in March year 2020 with her sweetheart, an older friend Lion Abiola Hotonu- Bababunmi MJF NLCF who dared to follow her into the formation of this great Association. Later... another friend Lion Alhaja Olabisi Bakare- Biobaku NLCF joined her. The name of the club is MARYLAND ROYAL LIONS CLUB District 404 B2. This gave her the title of a Charter president.

She was President 2020/2021 Lions year ( 14 MONTHS) She has received major International Recognition Awards by the President of the International Lions Club and District Governors Excellence Awards. Zone and Presidential Awards from other Club Presidents. She received in Accra, Ghana the Best Humanitarian Personality of the year Award in 2019 from The Pan African Magazine.

Olori Ayo Yemisi Jaiyeola was for many years the Secretary General of NNNGO (Nigerian Network of Non-Governmental Organizations) in Nigeria.

In year 2021, on INTERNATIONAL WOMENS DAY at the Royal Court of Ife, she was honoured with the Award of Excellence In Widow Empowerment by His Royal Majesty the Arole Oodua Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja 11 of Ile-Ife.

Recently, she received the title of DAME by her contribution to widowcare in Africa from the Charity leadership Academy..

She receives daily many kinds of widows, single mothers at her home and office in Maryland. Lagos. She also plays out regularly with widows as a social service.

Ayo is a full time Motivational speaker in Business, Career and trains individuals and groups on Non Governmental Organization, and Organization ability services.

She registers NGOs and trains groups of people on how to set up an NGO and run them..

A lot of churches have used her to set up their widows/WIDOWERS departments.

ANOTHER BIG THING TO DO BY SERENDIPITY HOUSE
On September 29, 2022, her organization Serendipity House awarded the first female District Governor of Rotary District 9110 Omotunde Lawson, FCAI for her emergence as DG after 42 years of the existence of the Nigerian district where men had dominated. Same day, Dame Ayaba Ayo Jaiyeola extended an award to the International President of the Rotary Club, Jennifer Jones as she also became the first ever female to emerge as International President after 117 years of the existence of the International club where men had dominated.

Ayo Jaiyeola recognizes and honours individuals and organizations based on their achievements without attaching any financial reward to it.

She owes this legacy to her mother Esther Olabisi Akinwale, her husband and her first life charity mentor Chief Mrs Betty Ubeku MON.

Courses for MEN, WOMEN, SINGLES, MARRIED,, PARENTING, YOUTH,MARKET PLACE, SPIRITUAL FORMATION, SPECIAL NEEDS AND RECOVERY... All Bible based.

She is the Minister of Widows Fellowship (BERAKAH) 4th day of Every month at the widows Centre. Lagos..

She is a Gold card Life Member of Ikoyi Club 1938.

Olori Dame Ayo Yemisi- Jaiyeola grand daughter of Pa Archdeacon Alayande of Ibadan Grammar School authored the first ever WORLD WOMEN RESOURCE COMPENDIUM which listed 5000 notable women in the world, 500 illnesses of women, 5000 classified Businesses of women and organisations world over who do not know she wrote about them... was launched in year 2004 by his excellency governor of Lagos state Asiwaju Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu ( Now President of the federal Republic of Nigeria), Chief Mrs Awolowo, Mr Deji Doherty, Chief Ohabunwa, Chief Kemi Nelson. Chief launcher was Her Excellency Chief Mrs Titi Abubakah, wife of the then Vice President FRN. And a host of dignitaries.
Her late husband Dr Yemisi Jaiyeola an old boy of Igbobi College 1955 Form Five Class was surprised at the energy behind the success of the world recommended compendium.

She also published the book THE LORD'S TABLE After Confirmation in 2007 among other over 15 booklets..

Ayo is also a graduate of the FATE FOUNDATION, Ijora. Lagos.

Moments that give Ayo joys are days she mingles with Igbobi College old boys ( NOBLE MEN) at there school celebrations which hold on her birthday 2nd February.

Ayo being an Anglican church member has received financial support from a lot of Christian denominations, Ministers, churches, clubs and NGOs, especially from Pa Pastor Enoch Adeboye and Mama Pastor Foluke Adeboye many times over.. through few of their provinces in Lagos.

She appeals to kind humans of earth to help her raise N250,000,000 in aid of the WIDOWS SHELTER PROJECT which is ongoing..
