Activities March 12-16th
On Tuesday 12th March our dear Lady Adegoke visited the centre to present N100,000 in 10 brown envelopes.
Because it's been a bit long ago that we seriously raised support for the Muslim members/ widows during fasting.... I sort her permission to give the money to them. The leader of the team was invited to pick money and some items.
Before now, Lady Adegoke had donated moneys severally of which we have used well in caring for widows some of which we used to make benches for our meetings,seeing the high cost of chairs.
May God reward all our contributions.
On Saturday 16th March we widows went on a walk for kidney Day Awareness.
On returning to the center, we were visited by Mr Alex Akanno, founder of ACT OF GIVING FOUNDATION whose day it was for his birthday.
He gave 30 widows lots of gifts and money...
I have never known or seen This new gentle man who came to be a part of our foundation. We were mentioned to him by an unknown person out there.
