In keeping with an annual schedule, 125 pieces of Ankara wrappers were distributed to widows and indigent women in churches in Imo State. The wrappers were distributed with the co-operation and participation of the priests and
their spouses who helped select deserving women as follows:

- St Andrew’s Anglican church – 20 pcs
- St Mary’s Catholic church (in association with Owazurumee Women’s club) – 30 Pcs
- Umuhu Okabia – Orsu LGA Imo State – Wednesday 25th December 2019
- St Simons’s Anglican Chruch - 30 pcs
- St James Anglican church – 10 pcs
- St Marys Catholic church – 9 pcs
- St Simons’s Anglican Church Extension - 4 pcs
- Christ Holy church – 4 pcs
- Church Workers
- St Andrews Anglican church Umuowa – 2 pcs
- St Simons’s Anglican Church Umuhu Okabia – 4 pcs
- Anglican Church of the Pentecost new Owerri – 2 pcs
- Other Widows not from any of the churches listed above – 10pcs.

The program was started in 2002, in Umuhu-Okabia as a contribution to society. The program has since become a yearly activity and has grown to other churches in Orsu LGA. Projects completed to date include 3 number three-class room blocks built in three schools one at StATE RIMARY School, Elugwu Okabia, the second at Umuhu Okabia Secondary School, Umuhu Okabia and the third at Community Secondary School, Awo Idemmili, re-roofing of the house of an indigent widow and re-building of St Simon’s Anglican Church Umuhu Okabia. There have been gifts of 36 motorcycles, 30 colour Tv sets to deserving persons and several hundred wrappers to widows. The program was extended to Umuowa in Orlu LGA (St. Mary’s Catholic Church in 2013 and St Andrews Anglican church in 2015).
Plans are in progress to buy one-year medical insurance cover for 100 persons through the National Health Insurance scheme. The beneficiaries will be selected through the same churches in Orsu, Orlu and Owerri West LGA’s.

I must say that for the past 25 years its been like this.. My passed husband gave 25% of all his life incomes to this cause.. I as founder have been a SEEDER, PATRON & PARTNER with the help of God upon my family as my children also contribute in the place of their departed father..who co founded with me.. Our Widow Care projects like the WIDOWS CAMP has not been very successfully achieved as we have raised N765,000 out of N5m for the 6 plots of land opposite the RCCG CAMP Mowe.. I pray we don't loose it. With your help we can get more friends to support by donating/ bequeathing lands, houses, and gardens for widows use. And their names will be on the wall of the Camp.. This is always on my mind to have a shelter to rehabilitate homeless widows and their children.. As I was once homeless when i lost my husband till God intervened..
